| Chain 3 providing quality service and goods |

For over 20 years now Chain 3 has been providing the Lac du Flambeau area with quality beads, gifts and jewelry, and Joan Mazat, the owner, wants all the northland to know that her shop has it all, and if she doesn’t have it in stock, she’ll find it for you.
“If she doesn’t have it, she’ll look until she finds it for you,” said one of her customers, Virginia Chosa. “That’s what’s unique about her as a bead store owner.”

“There was a girl getting married and couldn’t find a particular turquoise bead and it took me a while but I found it for her and she was just tickled pink,” Joan said. “We do that a lot,” she adds.
She explained that if someone was making a dance outfit and ran out of beads and found out that they didn’t make them anymore, she says to bring her a couple of the beads and she will find them.
Located at 709 Peacepipe road in Lac du Flambeau, Chain 3 carries everything from beads, to necklaces, earrings, ceramics, bracelets, feathers, barettes and dreamcatchers.
Joan said that her beads are made in the Czech Republic and are premium and don’t fade. “We don’t carry anything of low quality. Even our earrings are surgical steel so they don’t discolor.”
She also added that even though the beads are from the Czech Republic all her jewelry (aside from stuff she has made) is Native American made. Joan is not Native. She also said that most of the jewelry is made right in Lac du Flambeau.
Chain 3 is open M-F 11-4:30 but is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. They are open from 10-3 on Saturdays. Her phone number is 715-588-7697.
